Sometimes a mental health diagnosis can prevent an individual from being successful in the public school system and more tailored needs are warranted. Through or accommodating educational programs. Norwich Adult Ed and Supported Education, individuals can expand their learning and bolster their confidence.
Upon referral to our education programs, a Reliance Health Education Coach will sit down with you to discuss your interests and goals. Together you will determine which program would best align with your aspirations:
- The Norwich Adult Ed program works with you to obtain your high school diploma and GED goals.
- The Supported Education program covers all of Eastern Connecticut and partners with you on post-high school academic goals including:
- Obtaining & renewing a license or certificate
- College courses and diplomas
- Vocational training
We also offer:
- Transition to College Seminar – A 6-week course building study skills and preparing students for college requirements.
- Workshops focused on Math and English.
- Job Shadowing – Before individuals pursue an area of study, they can see how it fits into the larger community.
